The game development industry has touched each of us, and today’s youth can’t imagine a single day without a robotic environment. This year, Silicon Valley returns filled with international content from the World Robots Olympics and invites to explore the game development industry through the prism of robotics. 🤖

Every day kids will have the opportunity to design robots, learn to program them and observe how they perform pre-determined tasks. The presentations and practical workshops of professional game developers will help to absorb the information and understand the industry! 👨‍🚀

What to expect from the camp?

Day camp

We will be waiting for campers for five working days from 9:00 to 18:00.

What is included in the price:

Catering (brunch, lunch, dinner, water). Stationery. Board games, computer equipment for activities. Mandatory disinfection and protection measures.

MAIN THEME OF THE CAMP

To teach children to solve global problems through the prism of game development and entrepreneurship.

World Robots Olympiad

This year, the camp returns with the international content of the World Robots Olympiad and invites you to get acquainted with the game development industry through the prism of robotics.

Speakers

During the camp, students will hear presentations from the game development industry about the choice of themes, game genres, and monetization of the games created.

Lego Mindstorm robots

Every day we will construct and program the most advanced educational Lego Mindstorms robots and develop robotics skills.

Catering

Lunch (soup and hot dish) will be taken care of by the Public Institution Youth Valley, snacks – Žemaitijos pienas, and so that the ideas do not lack strength – Biršonas mineral waters will take care that there is water near the CodeAcademy Kids – Akvilė Kids.

 

Dishes will be made only from fresh and high quality products: whole grain flour, pure olive oil, first grade vegetables, etc. The menu is compiled in accordance with the public health recommendations and norms for child nutrition of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. The most important criteria are: a balanced, varied, moderate diet, less sugar, less salt, less saturated fat, more fiber and the food must be accompanied by water. 

 
 

Location

Vilnius Tech Park is the Silicon Valley of the Baltic States. It is home to companies preparing to enter the global market. Google, Oberlo, CodeAcademy, GameInsight, Deeper and others have offices in the Tech Park. The 19th century buildings, which until relatively recently housed the Sapiega Hospital, are for offices and co-working spaces. Currently, there are more than 700 innovative minds in the park, interested in improving the Lithuanian ecosystem to create non-governmental performing arts organizations, and for the spectator to see what other theaters do not show.

What to expect from the camp?

Children during the camp: 

 

  • Will develop creativity skills. 
  • Will develop a problem solving attitude. 
  • Will develop critical thinking (e.g. in the context of business ideas, in the context of partner search, etc.). 
  • Will design and program Lego robots and create computer games.
