Using the Unity tool, students will create computer games, ranging from game mechanics and design to lessons on how to properly present a game in the App Store. 📲 

Not only that, they will learn the subjects that are especially needed nowadays – mathematics, English, entrepreneurship, time and stress management methods. 🏆 

Groups of senior students, depending on their skills and programming knowledge, will be divided into different groups: those who do not have a programming background will learn to use tools and programs, and students who have previously attended a group will continue their studies and develop more complex projects. 

Students can attend the group once or twice a week. If necessary, the group can be attended on the principle of a virtual class – by connecting to the lesson remotely. 🏡

Leadership

Empathetic leadership is very important in project development, with the help of which it is possible to better understand, listen and advise on various issues.

Teamwork

Computational thinking

It is a problem-solving method that involves expressing problems and their solutions in a way that a computer can perform.

Logic

The principles of programming are also applied in everyday life: data, sequence of actions, conditions, summary and repetition of actions. In this way, the thought process is developed and logic is sharpened.

Entrepreneurship

In entrepreneurship lessons, students learn how to acquire the subject competencies needed to work in business, we will provide students with knowledge that will help them make their ideas and chosen profession meaningful in the future.

Programme

1st trimester

The main goal of the first trimester is to learn the basics of programming. First of all, students will get acquainted with computer files, their extensions and computer architecture, learn what variables, cycles, methods and arrays are. Understand and start using the cross-platform game and application development tool Unity, improve English and create a technological project.

2nd trimester

During the second trimester, students will create an individual project - a computer game. They will strengthen group communication and talk about time and stress management. During this trimester, they will also talk about entrepreneurship and how to monetize the developed games, and children who attend the group twice a week will create a game representative website, logo, sales platforms and strategies.

3rd trimester

We will begin the third trimester by creating a 3D game using the Unity 3D environment. Students will learn how to program the action and movement of a character and change camera surveillance. They will develop math and logic skills, learn the basics of game marketing. And at the end of the trimester students will transfer the created games to smartphones!

Technologies

During this school year, children will learn to work with Unity technology, and those who attend the group twice a week will also learn to work with UI / UX tools and the Wix content management platform.

If a student is unable to participate in a particular class, it is always possible to download the lesson record with all the study material and complete the assignment on their own.

The duration of the classes is endless. The group can be suspended when the paid subscription expires.
In order to return to the classes, the administration needs to be informed and the child will be able to continue teaching from the same lesson they completed.

Good mood and willingness to learn! Everything you need is already in the CodeAcademy Kids classes.

Up to 10 students participate in the classes.

Classes are held on the same schedule throughout the year, unless the group teacher and all students in the group have agreed to move the class to another day or time. Records of all lessons that have taken place and useful information are always available in the user’s account.
