CodeAcademy Kids is a programming academy for pupils of 7-18 years of age. We created it to make the time a contemporary pupil spends on a computer effective. We always analyse our current students’ interests, personalities, favourite ways of spending free time, etc. while making our study programmes. This makes our learning materials not only special, but very interesting to our students too.
The headquarters of CodeAcademy Kids are situated in Vilnius Tech Park, where most of our activities are based. However, we also have courses in more than 15 locations in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda.
The Lithuanian education system is not quick enough to evolve together with the ever-changing society. The methods that were effective a decade ago now look boring and quaint to the pupils. We know how important knowledge is, therefore we are focusing on what we do best: bringing students closer to computer technologies and programming through creativity, logic, attentiveness and teamwork. We strive to interest every Lithuanian pupil in computer technologies and make the time that they spend on a computer effective. We want every child in Lithuania to be able to learn IT differently and to have access to continuously updated sources of information. The professions that our children will have in the future haven’t been created yet, so we must look at the new generations responsibly and help them prepare for the computerised world of the future.
For us, maintaining the quality of our courses is very important, so we constantly update and improve our study programmes.
Because our courses complement each other, each of them has continuity.
Helping Each Other
We give opportunities for those who do not have them. In our academy, one in eleven students is studying for free.
During our courses, we encourage togetherness and team spirit in our students.
