This game development program opens magical technological opportunities, allowing students to create their own virtual worlds with Roblox Studio, one of the world’s most popular game development tools. Working with this platform, students will not only gain computer literacy but also get acquainted with programming and enhance their mathematical skills. 🎮 🌐 The program also includes an introduction to the operation, creation, and testing of online games. At the same time, students will develop independence by searching for and applying the information they find. 🧮

What to expect from the program?

Basics of programming

Using the latest programs, students begin to learn the concept of programming - they create their first interactive stories, games and animations.

Teamwork

Harmonious teamwork helps an organization or team accomplish more than a group of people who only want to satisfy their personal ambitions.

Computational thinking

It is a problem-solving method that involves expressing problems and their solutions in a way that a computer can execute.

Logic

Programming principles are also applied in everyday life: data, sequence of actions, conditions, generalization and repetition of actions. In this way, the thinking process is developed and logic is sharpened.

English and Mathematics

Disciplines very closely related to programming - mathematics and English - help to better understand the principles of programming and the information provided.

Trimesters

I trimester

We'll start with the basics – the Roblox Studio environment. We will learn the basics of its management and the main principles of creation. Students will get acquainted with the basics of the Lua programming language: variables, functions, loops, and conditions. We will also learn to use the graphical user interface and delve into Roblox Studio development tools. By the end of this trimester, students will create their first game.

II trimester

We will focus on the principles of internet operation, client, and server communication through Roblox Studio. We will learn programming and game development mechanics, such as information storage, round systems, and team game mechanics. Students will also gain knowledge about the basics of product sales. By the end of the second trimester, we will create a team game where two teams will battle against each other with built fortresses and firing cannons.

III trimester

We will learn to create independently. We will start with shooting and enemy creation mechanics, and also learn to create character animations. In the second part of this trimester, we will create and later present another independent project, where students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired.

  3. Different groups on all weekdays and Saturdays
  4. It is possible to use the Informal children’s education basket

Taip, būrelio metu moksleiviams išdėstysime pilną programą. Pradedant mokslus ne nuo rugsėjo sutrumpėja laikas paruošti baigiamąjį darbą, tačiau dėstytojai aktyviai komunikuoja su mokiniais ir stengiasi, kad kiekvienas vaikas pasiektų geriausią rezultatą.

Tėveliai užsiėmimuose nedalyvauja, bet po kiekvienos pamokos gali patikrinti savo vaiko atliktus darbus jam skirtame virtualiame diske.

Valstybinių švenčių ir moksleivių atostogų metu užsiėmimai nevyksta.
